Dr. Renae Reinardy
Renae Reinardy, PsyD is a Licensed Psychologist and Director of the Lakeside Center for Behavioral Change. Dr. Reinardy specializes in the treatment of Body-Focused Repetitive Behaviors, OCD, Hoarding Disorder, Tic Disorders, and related conditions. She is the co-author of The BFRB Recover Workbook: Effective Recovery from Hair pulling, Skin Picking, Nail Biting and Other Body-Focused Repetitive Behaviors, and Free to Be Me with a BFRB: The Ultimate Kids’ Guide to Living Well with Hair Pulling, Skin Picking, Nail Biting, and Other Body-Focused Repetitive Behaviors. For over 25 years, she has presented extensively both nationally and internationally at conferences, media outlets and professional trainings. She is an advocate for childhood mental health, the former National Mother of the Year™ and a Delegate to the United Nations CSW.
Doug Schwarz
Doug is the owner of Good Enough Ranch, and has had BFRB’s for 33 years. Doug attended his first retreat at age 13, and found a lifelong love for and to serve the BFRB community ever since. He founded Good Enough Ranch in 2019 as part of a reset of his human experience, and GER has become a beacon for humans and animals to gather in peace for parties, weddings, film viewings, and most importantly to Doug, the yearly retreat.
Pavitt Thatcher
Pavitt is a trainee psychotherapist providing treatment for those with obsessive compulsive and related disorders, body focused repetitive behaviours (such as compulsive skin picking, hair pulling and nail biting), anxiety, depression and other related disorders. Pavitt is currently studying for an MSc in Psychodynamic Psychotherapy at the University of London and has completed an MSc in Psychology at the University of Hertfordshire, UK.
